How To Demolish a Building – Japan Style!
The usual options for demolishing buildings are not available in Japan since the buildings are so tightly packed together. This video from BBC News shows the amazing story of the Grand Prince Hotel in Akasaka, Tokyo.
The building has already had 30 metres removed from its top, and even uses power generated from lowering the top in order to power the demolition process.
